Louis Farrakhan is at it again. With the “Millions More Movement” he has catapulted himself back into the media spotlight in a manner that must make Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton green with envy. One thing that doesn't get a lot of mention, although most Americans are certainly aware of it, is the fact that Farrakhan isn't just another “Liberal Black Leader Wannabe.” Farrakhan is the leader of the American Islamic movement, The Nation of Islam.

"It is not accidental that the Black male is in the condition he is in..." This is because of a "...conspiracy of our government against the Black male" along with "...our [Blacks'] failure to accept responsibility for our actions..."

Louis Eugene Walcott was born in 1933 in Bronx, NY. In 1955, Walcott first came in contact with the Islamic faith after being inspired by Malcolm X and visiting the Nation of Islam's annual Saviors' Day address by Elijah Muhammad in Chicago. He elected to join the Nation of Islam and took the name “Louis X.” He was later renamed Louis Farrakhan.

In the early 1960s, Farrakhan's relationship with Malcolm X, who supported a more moderate agenda for black civil rights than that of the Nation of Islam, began to sour. In 1964 Malcolm X publicly revealed that the leader of the Nation of Islam of that time, Elijah Muhammad, had engaged in sexual relations with several of his secretaries (all teenagers). In spite of the fact that this was in violation of Muhammad's own teachings against illicit sex, Farrakhan was outraged at Malcolm X's actions and labeled him a traitor.

"…The die is set, and Malcolm shall not escape, especially after such evil, foolish talk about his benefactor; such a man is worthy of death and would have been met with death if it had not been for Muhammad's confidence in Allah for victory over his enemies."

Malcolm X was murdered on February 21, 1965. He wasn't the first former member of the Nation of Islam to be murdered. Muslim beliefs regard any who leave the faith to be traitors and infidels, worthy only of death. In interviews with 60 Minutes and Jet Magazine (in 2000), he made admirable attempts to spin the words above in a way that exonerates him from any responsibility in Malcolm's death. I'm not accusing him of ordering the death of Malcolm X. At that time Farrakhan was a small player within the Nation of Islam and probably lacked the influence to order a hit. There is no denying however, that his words reflect the culture of violence within the organization.

Fast-forward to the 90's… In 1996 and 1997, Louis Farrakhan went on "World Friendship Tours" during which he visited government leaders in Iran, Sudan, Iraq, Syria and Libya. All of these nations are known supporters of Islamic terrorism, and the Sudanese government is guilty of the slaughter of over a million black Christians. If Farrakhan believes in peace, love and tolerance then why does he consort with such monsters? If he is truly a leader of blacks then why does he not openly oppose the actions of these murderers?

Answer: Farrakhan, like other radical Muslims, believes that “peace” is defined as global domination by the Muslim faith. His role in the greater war is to recruit as many blacks as possible into that faith, and therefore into the ranks of radical Islam.

"I heard from a very reliable source who saw a 25 foot deep crater under the levee breach. It may have been blown up to destroy the black part of town and keep the white part dry."

Way to go Louie! Yeah, that's the way to promote racial harmony, right? By the way, it's been pretty much proven by a group of independent engineers that the levee was compromised by unstable soil that washed out from underneath it, hence the “crater” described by Farrakhan. If I knew about this, so did he. And, his “reliable source” turned out to be long-time white supremacist Hal Turner. Credibility was evidently not a consideration. Raise your hand if you're surprised.

Equally unsurprising is the fact that Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi pledged to give Farrakhan a billion dollars in 1996 to create a Muslim lobby in the United States. Not a billion dollars for blacks… a billion dollars for Muslims.

This man is not a gentle minister representing the so-called Religion of Peace. Louis Farrakhan is a radical Muslim extremist. He consorts with terrorists, he speaks the language of hate and racism, and his goals are anything but peaceful. Farrakhan is faithfully following in the footsteps of the false prophet Mohammed, who founded the Islamic faith. He is, therefore, just another Islamic thug.
